- The Office of Management and Budget issued a new Vehicle Use Policy effective November 22, 2005. Driving privileges for State employees will expire if you do not submit the new forms to Fleet Services in accordance with the following schedule:
December 15, 2005
- Vehicle Housed at Employee Residence Application. Current authorizations will expire as of 12/31/05.
- Exemption from State Owned License Plate. Current approvals will expire 12/31/05.
December 31, 2005
- Request for Blocked Vehicle form for each vehicle an Agency currently has blocked. All current block vehicle assignments will expire 12/31/05.
January 15, 2006
If new forms are not submitted to Fleet Services by the due dates, you will be taken out of our authorized database and unable to drive a State vehicle, purchase gasoline for a State vehicle and risk being uninsured while driving a State vehicle. Hurricane Katrina mail service update (as of 9-14-05)

FYI from Messenger Services - Due to Hurricane Katrina, mail service to the affected areas has been disrupted and in most cases suspended. For more information and a listing of affected areas, please see the USPS web site. In addition, the State of Delaware Pre-Sort vendor has informed us that mail sent to the Hurricane affected areas will be returned.

Fleet Services has updated their Fueling Card Locations and Maps to a more user-friendly format. The new maps and location keys can be found on the Fleet Fueling Locations link under the Information navigation. In addition to the fueling sites, we have included the Vehicle Pool sites for your convenience.
- Fleet Services Upgrades Reservation Confirmations - Effective July
14, 2005, Fleet Services' reservation confirmations will now be sent
to your state email account. Should you be one of the few who do not
have an email address on file with Fleet Services, you will continue
to receive a fax confirmation. This upgrade should result in an improved
delivery of services to our customers.
We continually strive to provide increased service delivery to our customers and hope that you will find this change an improvement. Let us know if you have any comments.
- Governor Minner's Major Reorganization of State Government Agencies became effective July 1, 2005 - The Department of Administrative Services, along with the State Personnel Office and the Budget Office, has combined to become our new agency: Office of Management and Budget. Under this reorganization, the Division of Support Services has been renamed Government Support Services. Look for changes on our web site in the near future.

Fleet adds interactive Word Forms for frequent users of Fleet Vehicle Reservations and Video Conferencing Reservations.
- Surplus Services adds List Service to web site. This service allows registered users to receive information on State Property, Auctions, and other pertinent Surplus information.

Government Support Services (formerly The Division of Support Services) web site migrated to the new "common look and feel" design on February 22, 2005. Also under this design, the Division's services were also combined into one site.
