File Submission Standards
All files submitted to the Printing and Publishing Office must meet the following standards:
Preferred File Format: the standard file format is PDF. Submissions in any other format as listed above may incur design changes resulting in additional fees.
Graphics: All Raster graphic should be at least 300 DPI, sized to the target print size, with a color mode of black and white (bitmap or grayscale) or color (CMYK). Vector graphics (clip art, computer generated illustrations, etc.) must be in Grayscale or CMYK color mode.
Note: Images with resolutions less than 300 DPI are not suitable for print and will degrade the quality of your publication. Web images are 72 or 96 DPI and are unacceptable for printing. Graphics in the RGB color mode will either fail to print, or will not match the desired color. This includes images/graphics from MS Office clip art and many other clip art collections. No color guarantee is available when RGB images are used.
Word Processing and Presentation Files: MS Word, Power Point files are acceptable for printing in black and white or grayscale. Color printing from these files will not match what displays on screen and are offered as-is.
