SURPLUS FEE SCHEDULE

The Delaware Surplus Services program is totally ASF funded. This means that the program does not receive any State or Federal dollars. Because of this, we must find ways to run our program so that we are self-sufficient.

In order to help us cover our employee costs, we must charge for property pickup and delivery.

Service Charges

  1. $38.00 per hour for Driver and Van
    (this fee is charged from port to port and is rounded to the quarter-hour)
  2. $15.00 per hour for Helper
    (this fee is charged from port to port and is rounded to the quarter-hour)
  3. $55.00 per hour for pickup of scrap property
    (this fee is in addition to the hourly driver and/or helper charge)

Customer Service Response Time

  1. We will follow-up within 24 business hours after receipt of the Declaration Form to arrange for pickup, transfer, or disposal of property.
  2. We will pickup, transfer or dispose of your property within 5 working days or at a time thereafter specified by you.
