ABOUT THE OFFICE OF SUPPLIER DIVERSITY
The Office of Supplier Diversity (OSD) in Delaware's Government Support Services Agency assists diverse (minority, veteran and/or women owned business) suppliers in competing for the provision of commodities and professional and non-professional services including construction to State Departments/Agencies.
The Office of Supplier Diversity offers opportunity identification, training on how to use the business intelligence on the State's Procurement Portal and other tools necessary for successfully doing business with the State of Delaware. OSD will maximize supplier diversity by assisting government agencies in identifying certified minority, veteran and/or women owned businesses when purchasing and contracting for materials and services for the State. OSD maintains a publicly accessible online directory of certified minority, Veteran and/or women owned businesses for this purpose.
We highly recommend diverse businesses register and certify with the OSD so that we can identify them in this directory. This is the primary tool used by State and Local Governments and other procurement offices to identify and provide insight into opportunities for diversity suppliers in order to meet the spirit of intent of the provisions in Executive Orders 14 and 29. Registration in the directory is free.
